Transition Classroom

 

 

Gloria Hobi earned a bachelor's degree in Music and owned and operated her own music studio for 20 years. During this time, she taught up to 75 students annually, many of whom had special needs. When her son began having life-altering health problems 7 years ago, Gloria became increasingly passionate about helping other parents of children with special needs. She returned to school where she received another bachelor's in Special Education (Western Governors University). While completing her degree, she taught music in CARES Summer program. She now enjoys integrating music into her lessons at CARES. Gloria lives with her husband, Kent, their three sons, Luke, Nathan and Seth, and their dog, Max.
