CARES Services
 
CARES provides services to students who reside in Mentor, as well as surrounding districts. CARES is open to students who have a primary diagnosis of autism and whose Individual Education Plan (IEP) team has determined that an outside placement is necessary in order for a student to achieve success. Parents interested in CARES should contact their Special Education Director.

What services does CARES provide?
  • Small group and individualized programming utilizing successful methodolgy for students with autism; team developed, data driven IEP, ETR and Alternate Assessment; consultative services.
 
Does CARES offer lunch services to students?
  • Due to the many differing dietary restrictions of children with autism, CARES students bring a packed lunch. Our school is peanut free.

Main Office Hours - 8:00am to 4:00pm 
Teacher Hours - 8:00am to 3:30pm  
Student Hours - 8:30am to 2:00pm
